2023 Approval of a Preclinical Study by CNBI, marking a significant step in the development of biosimilar mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) under different production methodologies.

2022

2022 Launched the third IND application for DMD, further advancing clinical research in the United States.

2020

2020 Began research into rheumatoid arthritis, expanding treatment applications for autoimmune diseases.

2019

2019 Published clinical findings on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing new insights into the potential of stem cell therapy for neurodevelopmental conditions.

2018

2018 Published clinical research on Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

2014-2015

2014-2015 Submitted two Investigational New Drug (IND) applications in the U.S. for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

2011

2011 Expanded operations with a new research and production lab in Ciudad del Saber, Panama.

2010

2010 Dr. Riordan’s research on mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) won the BioMed Central Medical Article of the Year Award.

2007

2007 Established the Stem Cell Institute clinic in Panama, co-founded by Dr. Neil Riordan, Dr. Jorge Paz Rodríguez, and Dr. Rodolfo Fernández.

2004

2004 Opened the first regenerative medicine center in Costa Rica, pioneering stem cell applications for chronic conditions.
